The Next Tree of Life Lesson

THE WHITE SPHERE

The white sphere at the top of the Tree of Life is that place within ourselves where we become aware we are alive, a being, we think and where we become aware of everything. This is the Sphere of Awareness, the Path of Being Aware or Being Oblivious.

We must be aware of incarnating into the physical reality before we can even think about becoming part of this reality. Awareness is the first requirement. We must be aware that we can create, experience or become something before we can even think about creating, experiencing or becoming that thing. If we are not aware that we can do these things, we will never even consider doing them.

THE PATH OF AWARENESS

The top sphere of the middle pillar, the white sphere at the top of the center of the Tree, has many names. Here is a list of a few of them with a short explanation:

• Crown - The "crowning glory" or the Radix of Glory called Kether, Ketter or Kesser in Hebrew. God's crowning glory is seen as the creation of everything that exists.
  
  
• Union - The place where we unite with the Divine. It is also the place where we are created as a distinct living and conscious individual within the Mind of God. Though were are never ever separated from the Divine, we think we are.
  
  
• Divine Creator - The Divine becoming manifest is the creation according to these ancient teachings. This is because in the beginning there was nothing but the Divine. Hence, the Divine could create anything only by using itself.
  
  
• Primordial Point - This is a circle of infinite diameter with a central point everywhere. We call this omnipresence. This concept is also explained as Unity or the Vast Countenance -- other names for the relationship between the Divine and that which is created.
  
  
• Lux Occulta - Hidden Light is another name for the Divine. While we are in the flesh we cannot see the Light that is the Divine. It is hidden from us. Thus it is called the Hidden Intelligence. This is also the Lux Interna, the Light Within which is both within us and hidden from us. For these reasons the Divine becoming manifest is also called the Existence of Existences and the Concealed of the Concealed.
  
  
• Ancient of Ancients - The Divine has already existed an infinite time and it is older than anything created by the Divine. The Ancient of Ancients has many similar names like Ancient of Days.
  
  
• The Head which is not - This alludes to ancient wisdom only now being proven by quantum physics. That shocking revelation is that everything in the creation fluctuates between being here and not here. The consensus is we are manifest in the physical reality about half the time. That means we are not in this physical reality half of the time either. We flash in and out of this reality thousands upon thousands of times every second. Everything does. What we don't know is where we go the other half of our time.
  

THE FUNCTION OF THE PATH OF AWARENESS

The function of this top sphere is to become aware. In the beginning of the creation, the Divine became aware it could create. Lacking this awareness the Divine could not even consider creating all the Divine has created. Awareness is the first step in learning, becoming or creating anything. Without awareness nothing happens.

In the beginning of doing anything, we must become aware that we can do exactly that. Until we become aware, we may have the potential to do something, but we cannot do it since we lack the awareness that we can. Until we become aware we are completely oblivious of the possibility. When we become aware we have the ability to consider the possibilities. Until then we are oblivious.

Until you became aware you could crawl, you did not crawl. Until you became aware you could speak, you did not speak. Until you became aware you could walk, you did not walk. Until you became aware you could do something, you could not do it. You did not do it.

In the beginning, you became aware through trial and error. But you did become aware and your awareness made it possible for you to learn how to do it.

We become aware on three levels of consciousness. Our mind operates on three levels of consciousness. The first level is the unconscious level. On this level of consciousness, we are completely aware of everything within and without ourselves. We are aware of everything in our environment.

The second level of awareness is on the subconscious level. Not much escapes our subconscious mind. But on this level of consciousness we are less aware than in our unconscious mind. We are oblivious to some things our unconscious mind is aware of.

The third level of awareness is on the conscious level. Here on this level we are oblivious to many things that come into our sphere of awareness. In many ways we are more oblivious than aware. The more important something is to us the more aware we are about that thing. We are aware of everything in and around us on some level of our being. But more often than not we are not consciously aware of everything. Our subconscious mind may be and our unconscious mind is always aware of everything in and around us.

THE LAW OF AWARENESS

The Law of Awareness indicates that when you become aware you can do anything you want to do. The corollary is that if you lack this awareness it will never dawn on you that you can do it. The Law of Awareness is that you can only do what you are aware you can do.

If you are not aware you can do it, you cannot do it. If you are not aware of the possibilities, you will never consider those possibilities. There are degrees of awareness and because you are partially aware, you have the opportunity to do some things imperfectly. If you ever become absolutely aware, you may have the ability to do some things perfectly.

The more aware you are, the better you can function on every level of your being.
